#11: Dark Side Of The Moon

Pluto really is all alone now. This won’t be the last time we see Nix (the one that’s not Earth)!

Hey, I like the new site! I like the puns and such. With your kind of humor, and having a science-related comic, you might like my comic about unicellular organisms: http://www.unicellularcomic.com/

Nix has a cooler name than Moon.

Where does the name Nix from come is it actual?

    • Johnny

Yup! It’s one of 3 moons around Pluto

Pluto has 3 moons? I thought it was just Charon. (google searches) nope ur right there’s 3 my bad.

Aw man!! I hadn’t even thought about that! What about Pluto’s moons now that Pluto’s not a planet anymore?
Why doesn’t science ever think of the CHILDREN!?

Also, isn’t our Moon technically called “Luna”?

    • Spaceman Dan

We call it the moon because it’s our only 1. I suppose that if we were to somehow ever make contact with extra terestial life (I belive someones out there but I don’t belive we will ever find them due to the vast size of space) then they would call it Luna. (like in the game spore the sun is called Sol and the moon is Luna). I know I talk alot
